To whom it may concern:
​I was in Amsterdam on a once in a lifetime trip two years ago and was able to take a side trip to Delft.   I purchased a vase that the owner of the factory claimed would no longer be produced as the person who designed it had recently died.  It was exquisite!   This past summer some friends and their guests stayed at my cabin and the vase was handled and ended up badly chipped and cracked.   When I found it, I was so distressed I was beside myself!  I researched and contacted the firm in Delft – and the original information given to me was correct.  This was a vase not able to be reproduced.   I searched and found Henri Laborde and communicated with him regarding his work on restoring art pieces; I was blown away when several weeks later the piece was returned to me and it looks absolutely perfect!  Not just close to perfect… PERFECT!   His fee was incredibly reasonable, and Henri’s repair work with this porcelain vase is truly remarkable.  Without hesitation I would take anything and everything of value that has been damaged  to Henri first!
